Prosol 68 is the latest emulsifiable rolling oil for aluminum hot rolling. It provides higher reduction ration over the traditional aluminum hot rolling oil and makes one pass reduction potentially achievable. The rolling ability is Improved, rolling force and power consumption are lower.Furthermore, new emulsifiers have replaced nonyl phenol surfactants due to environmental conerns.

Application
Prosol 68 can be used on reversible breakdown, finishing or tandem mills. Tap water with hardness up to 200 mg calcium carbonate per litre can be used to prepare the emulsion. Please note that Prosol 68 should not be used for copper and brass hot and intermediate rolling Recommended oil concentration are Breakdown mills : 2 – 5% Finishing and Tandem mills : 5 – 7%
