用 途
当依照背面所列调配表指示加入适量比例的清水调和后,即能使冷却系统之混合液体凝固点降低，保持循环顺畅；汗能令内燃机起动容易，无过热之虞。因其内含的特种金属氧化抑止剂能提供全面性防锈及防腐蚀保护，故能抑制淤积及沉淀物的产生，从而保障冷却水系统的工作效率。
性 质
美孚不冻液是特为铸铁及铸铝内燃机而配制。此这二种内燃机虽在操作时受酸性物质污染，但美孚不冻液的预留碱性添加剂能中和酸性并使其防腐蚀特质得到长时期的维持。美孚不冻液符合美国ASTM D3306、英国BS6580及日本JIS K2234规格的要求。美孚不冻液在各长期模拟性台架试验中,包括美国ASTM D2570及英国BS 5117试验方式, 证实性能良好，并在各发动机制造商的一系列规格试验中有满意的表现.

Application
When mixed with water at the correct ratio in accordance with the chart shown overleaf, it will ensure free circulation in the cooling system within the temperature range shown correspondingly, thus allowing immediate starting without fear of overheating.The special inhibitors offer the greatest all round protection against rust and corrosion, thereby preventing the formation of sludge and deposits in the cooling system and keeping it working efficiently.
Properties
Mobil Antifreeze has been formulated for use in both cast iron and aluminium engines. It has a built in reserve alkalinity to ensure that corrosion protection is given over long periods despite contamination by acidic compound during service with both engine metallurgies. Mobil antifreeze meets the provisional requirements of ASTM D 3306, BS 6580 and JIS K2234. Mobil antifreeze has proven performance in extended simulated service rig tests including the ASTM D 2570 and BS 5117 test methods and gives fully satisfactory results in a wide range of engine manufacturer specification tests for antifreeze.
