Mobil DTE AW Series lubricants are premium quality circulating oils intended primarily for use in critical geared turbine sets where superior antiwear performance and resistance to oxidation are required. They are formulated from very high quality (VHQ) base stocks and a zinc-free additive system which provide outstanding chemical and thermal stability and very good protection against wear. They resist emulsification and separate rapidly from water. They have excellent anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties. Their high viscosity index ensures minimum variation of film thickness with temperature and minimum power loss during the warm-up period. These grades possess excellent air release properties which allow entrained air to separate, so avoiding pump cavitation and erratic operation. Mobil DTE AW Series, in appropriate viscosity grade, meet or exceed the requirements of EGT GEK-281 43A and Siemens-KWU TLVB9013 04/01 and Solar ES 9-224.
